The Story of Magnolia

We at Magnolia believe in being more than just a design and build company. Founded in 2018, a dream of helping people develop spaces to connect with their loved ones has since grown into Ottawa’s premier construction company. With over 70 trades available, developing your space into something you can be proud of is our specialty.
However, the story of Magnolia is much more than a simple design and build firm. Owner and operator Joey Peloso grew up valuing the work ethic of his father, and the business savvy of his mother, and when he founded Magnolia these two values were kept close to the heart. Much like his parents, Joey’s desire to be involved personally in the process has resulted in the Magnolia brand being known as a company with a personal touch. No job is too big or too small for us at Magnolia, and our clients can rest assured that our team, including Joey himself, are readily available at all points of the process.

After many years working as a school chapelin, Joey faced some trying times and made some mistakes. This process of growth led him to founding Magnolia on the only principle he knew.

Building.

Not building in the traditional construction sense, but rather the art of building relationships, building the life of him and those around him, and ultimately building spaces for others who wish to do the same.

At Magnolia, the idea of connectivity is paramount. The feeling we all get from going to a wedding, an event with friends, or other social and loving environments fuels our design process, as we aim to provide those opportunities to people across the city of Ottawa in the comfort of their homes and businesses.
