Community Pizza Party
The Magnolia x Pizza Nerds community pizza party started as a simple idea: give kids the pizza party they actually want, not the one-inch slices they usually get.
Our partnership with Pizza Nerds started with one question — what would it take to do a kids' pizza party properly? No generic boxes, no lukewarm delivery, no one-inch slices. Real local pizza, made fresh, served hot, in the middle of whatever the group happens to be doing that day.
Since then the party has landed at the GNAG March break camp and the Glebe Cooperative Nursery School community fundraiser, among others. It is a small thing that turns a normal afternoon into the one the kids talk about for weeks.
This is an ongoing initiative, not a one-off. It lets us get involved in a very delicious way, and it puts money into a local kitchen at the same time.
